Eureka Theme Song

2006–present; also “A Town Called Eureka Theme Song”

“A Town Called Eureka” is its title in the United Kingdom on Sky1.

The opening title theme song for Eureka is officially entitled “Eureka On My Mind” and was composed by Mark Mothersbaugh and John Enroth. Yes, while Bear McCreary is the known composer and scorer for the series, he did not create the title song. The title tune has been used since the first season.

About the composers

Mark Mothersbaugh is the lead singer and co-founder of the band Devo. John Enroth is a film and television composer. They have worked together before in Shaggy & Scooby-Doo: Get a Clue!

Soundtrack

The show has an official soundtrack. It was released in August 26, 2008 under La-La Land Records, a record company who specializes in soundtracks. The disc contains 28 tracks mostly composed by Bear McCreary. It contains two versions of the theme, namely “Eureka On My Mind” and “Eureka on My Mind (Reprise)”.
